I’m Will Shultz, a professional photographer and the creative mind behind Venture Farther Photography, based in Wilmington, North Carolina.

My love of photography started in Middle School, inspired by a deep appreciation of being creative an seeing the world differently. Growing up, animals played a huge role in my life, shaping how I see connection, patience, and trust. Influences like Steve Irwin taught me that every living thing has value and a story worth respecting. A perspective that continues to guide my work today.

What started as a passion for photography has grown into a broader love for capturing connection in all its forms. Whether I’m working with pets, families, couples, seniors, or creative minds, my approach always stays the same. I create a space that feels calm, genuine, and intentional, allowing real moments to unfold naturally.

Alongside my photography work, I continue to volunteer with animal rescues, zoos, and aquariums. Supporting animal welfare in all it's forms remains an important part of who I am, and I’m always proud to work with animal rescues to help bring out each animal’s unique personality!

Who is my Photography For?

This is a deeply personal tribute to my late husky-wolf mix, Myla, who was my best friend for 13 wonderful years. Her passing has left a void in my life, but her memory inspires me to pursue pet photography full-time. "Memories For Myla That Last A Lifetime" portrays my mission: to help others capture the special moments with their pets, ensuring they have beautiful, lasting memories that celebrate their pets' unique qualities and the bond they share.
